Image capture [screenshot] is a useful trick in using images. To capture any screen image on an IOS device, simultaneously press the Screen Off/On button and the Home button. There is a camera-like sound and the image can be found in the Camera or Photos App. The image can be edited (see arrow) to crop out unwanted elements.
Editing tools are shown along the bottom with Markup tools are selected. If the App Skitch has been downloaded it will appear here - a much more polished App than Markup.

Markup can be very useful, especially for explanatory use of images such as showing directions and highlighting particular details.
