Calendar and Contacts

Calendar and Contacts are the keystones of personal organisation. Both can be set up using the same Apple ID and iCloud account between family devices so that they are synchronised between member of the family. See iCloud for more information on this.

There can be multiple individual calendars displaying on one Calendar, for each individual, Public Holidays, Family events and so on.

Contacts and Calendars share data. For example, Birthdays entered into Contacts will show up on the Calendar. Both appear on all devices using the same Apple ID.
